Alexandria "Miss Alex" Acosta

Alex started dancing rather late in life at the age of 8 at MnR Dance Factory. Alex was a core member of the Dance Team for almost 13 years, winning numerous titles along the way including Dancer of the Year in Calgary, Canada at age 12, Miss Dance Xplosion in 2006, Encore Elite Dancer in 2006 to name a few.

Alex has been teaching dance at MnR for 6 years starting as an assistant teacher and summer camp assistant for 2 years and for the past 4 years teaching her own ballet, jazz, tap and jumps and turns classes.

Alex is an accomplished choreographer in her own right, winning various choregography awards at recent competitions.

Alex graduated from UCLA in the World Arts and Cultures Dance department in June 2009. Alex also graduated from the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as a Dance Major.

Alex wants to thank all her young students, who are the reason she teaches, for being you.
