Please have dancers ready at their scheduled time in costumes with hair in the style that the teacher has instructed during class. Arrive early! All performers are to rehearse in costume including tights, shoes, hair and make-up as instructed by teacher. Each group will run through the number at least one time, will be shown how to enter and exit the stage and where to start their dance. We've done our best to group your rehearsals as close to each other as possible, while allowing for costume changes. The running order of the show will be posted at the dress rehearsal.
Recital: Sunday, June 22nd - Note this is not Fathers Day.
Seating: Please plan to arrive at the auditorium at least one half hour before show time. The auditorium will be emptied between each show and doors will re-open between 20 and 30 minutes before each show. Seats are on a first come first serve basis. We ask your cooperation in not saving more than two seats. We suggest if you want to sit with a large group of people, you should arrive together. We also ask that you use common courtesy when going to and from your seats during the show as to not block others from view their dancers. Your dancer may be done but there are other families trying to watch theirs.
Where do I bring my child when I arrive on recital day?: Any children performing within the first three numbers of the show should be dropped off backstage after the end of the Opening Number. Everyone else can take seats in the audience and come back stage three numbers before their performance. You will see the running order of the show at the dress rehearsal. There will be a teacher backstage to stage the children by class. No parents will be allowed backstage. For the Toddler to 6 year olds please pick your child up at the backstage entrance from the auditorium after their performance.
How do I know what show my child is in and when is the dress rehearsal?: The attached schedule is arranged by the day and time your child takes class. There are two pieces of information that you need to get from each line. 1) What time your dress rehearsal is and 2) What show your class is performing in. We have done everything we can to have siblings and children in multiple classes in the same show. If you take more than 3 classes or classes on different days you will probably be dancing in more than one show.
Does each class participate in more than one show? No
Each class is assigned one show time 10:30am, 1:00pm or 3:30pm except the Dance Team Opening Number which is in all 3 shows.
