Aerial Arts Classes
Aerial art refers to dance-like, acrobatic physical movement performed while suspended in the air. MNR DF offers training in aerial silk (also known as fabric or tissue) and aerial hoop. Aerial Art is a fun way to build strength and flexibility. Although challenging, working with aerial equipment is empowering and builds confidence.
Our Aerial training is led by renown Cirque Du Soleil star and International Rhythmic Gymanstics Championship medalist, Ramon Moore and world renown aerial artist Maya Kramer.
Ramon Moore comes to MNR DF with over 20 years of coaching experience. He began his teaching/performance career as a Division I Varsity Artistic Gymnast at the University of California at Santa Barbara. After graduating with a BS in Biological Sciences, he made American history becoming the first American to compete and medal in the 1st International Men's Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. Ramon received three medals 2 silvers, 1 bronze during his first championships. Ramon trained an American team and returned to championships two years later. They won gold in the group competition. Ramon's expertise has been called on to help with numerous personal clients as well asprojects created by Franco Dragone, Debbie Allen, Cirque Du Soleil and Roni Blak.
Maya Kramer credits include television shows as So you think you can dance Israel, Cirque style shows as Voyage de la Vie Singapore or Vienna Marrakesh Israel, Musicals such as Cats, Variety shows, modern dance companies, traditional and modern circus, Opera, grand scale events and much more.
All dancers must be registered and enrolled
before participating in a class or program
Tuesday 7:45-9:00 pm
Wednesday and Thursday 3:45-5:00 pm
