“Our Story” as written by CEO Kateryna (“Katya”) Tkachenko:
M - Studio Dance House is a sport ballroom dancing club that has been created more than 5 years ago by young talented girl Maria Mitchenko who had a big dream to grow little stars.
From the very beginning there were about 40 kids from 3 till 12 years old in our dancing club. In less than one year, our students successfully competed in the World Championship competition in Paris. We've got World Vice champions in our team.
Our small students became one of the top dancers in Ukraine based on competitions results.
In 2018 our students won the European Championship in Blackpool.
In 5 years our team has grown, and last year our three top teachers Maria, Dmitriy and Bogdan decided to go to the next level and opened Dance House Studio. Newly built, the almost 750 sq meters space became a home place for our kids, friends, dancing dreamers who are in love with ballroom dance as we are.
Today, Dance House Studio is a creative art place where you could find not only ballroom dancing, but also Zumba, salsa & bachata, yoga & stretching, fitness for kids from as young as three years old to adults, from any level - from beginner till professional.
Today, we have 25 kids that are staying with us from the first day. We have 50 sport professional students of different ages: 45 kids from ages 3 to 12 years old and and almost 100 adults who are just starting their journey with ballroom dancing.
Our studio core principles are: love, care and sport discipline which bring our students to the highest results.
Our students and teachers participate not only in sport competitions, but also in TV projects such as: Ukraine Got Talent, Dancing with Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, and many others.
Well, we had all that we had before the 24th of February. After Russia invaded Ukraine, we had to temporarily close the studio because almost all our students had to leave the country. We keep teaching via zoom lessons and planning to come back to our home studio as soon as it would be possible.

Dima, Bogdan and Maria are co-owners and top teachers. Maria is also a founder of the sport dancing club which is part of the studio.
