Vranova Photography
Born and raised behind the iron curtain in former Czechoslovakia, Marcela Vranova’s first connection with the artistic world manifested through dance. After training throughout childhood, her passion for dance became a profession. She was a professional dancer in her late teens and early twenties, dancing with renowned dance companies throughout the Czech Republic.
Through her experiences on stage and in front of the camera, Marcela discovered her new passion behind the camera as a film, music video, and television producer.
When Marcela relocated to the United States over eight years ago, she used her camera skills as a way to break the language barrier. Her experiences and skills are evident in her unique photographic eye, drawn to storytelling. She is most inspired by the emotions of her subject and finds extraordinary images in ordinary moments in life. She now considers herself native of West Los Angeles and is proud to be a member of her extended art community.
