BACKYARD BRENTWOOD is an evening of food and entertainment.
Produced by the Blak & Blue Dance Project, with Tae Ryong Brentwood, and Pecorino Restaurant, it’s the perfect “date night” or “friends night” out for you and your “Quaran-team.” Inspired by one of our favorite places, “The Hollywood Bowl,” BACKYARD BRENTWOOD is takes place in the “back yard” of Blak and Blue Dance Project’s parent company, MNR Dance Factory and next-door neighbor Pecorino Restaurant.
Adults (21+) enjoy dinner, drinks, and a classic movie in an outdoor, socially-distanced space while children (ages 6+) are safely and socially distanced and supervised at MNR Dance Factory or Tae Ryong Taekwondo Brentwood while enjoying a kid-friendly movie and optional pizza dinner.

Blak and Blue Dance Project continues to support the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement through their DANCE FOR MINDS initiative.
Safety Precautions
Every effort is made to go above and beyond CDC guidelines for safety. Blak & Blue Project/MNR Dance Factory has teamed up with Clarity Consulting Co. Everyone is required to wear a mask. Social distance and sanitization measures and PPE are in place for every facility. The adult-only dinner and movie will be held in an outdoor, tented area behind the building.
Tickets + Pricing
Discounts for parties of two or more. Please contact us if your group exceeds 6 people. Your ticket is tax-deductible.
Adult Tickets include a three-course dinner from Pecorino Restaurant (salad, main dish, and a dessert), drinks (beer + wine). Gluten-free and vegetarian options available! Kids Tickets include child-care at MNR Dance Factory or Tae Ryong Taekwondo during the course of the event. Dinner for children includes pizza and kid-friendly drinks. Entertainment: kid-friendly movie (TBD).

Move For Minds / The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement
Maria Shriver and the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement present Move for Minds – an annual initiative that aims to ignite men and women everywhere to make their cognitive health a priority!
Held each year in recognition of Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, these groundbreaking events educate the public on the latest in Alzheimer’s research and on lifestyle changes they can make today to care or their brains and possibly prevent the disease. Funds raised through Move for Minds are used to accelerate women-based Alzheimer’s research, since women are at an increased risk for the disease.

MNR DANCE FACTORY
Roni Blak’s premiere dance school for kids in Los Angeles has served the community for over 27 years. MNR Dance factory offers a variety of dance instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, athletic conditioning, aerial arts, and more. Virtual, in-studio, private instruction, and Dance Team. Adults can take classes through Class Pass.

Tae Ryong Taekwondo
Tae Ryong Taekwondo Brentwood is one of the largest, family centered Martial Arts facilities in Southern California.
